Been Fit is a facility dedicated to enhancing athletic performance and overall fitness. We develop athletes from youth to collegiate and professional levels, ensuring they are as prepared for competition as possible. At Been Fit, we pride ourselves on being a personable, private facility that seeks to understand each athlete as an individual, rather than merely having them complete workouts. We evaluate athletes’ strengths and weaknesses and strive to build a solid athletic foundation based on their specific results. Not only will your athlete become a better competitor, but they will also develop essential life skills, learn how to compete, and cultivate confidence, discipline, and both mental and physical strength. These skills will benefit them throughout their sporting careers and beyond. This is the goal and mission of Been Fit, while also holding parents accountable. Trainers
Coach Ben "Bucks" Vargas
The most high intensity coach you will meet. If you were to ask an athlete that has worked with Coach Ben, they will tell you that he truly cares about what he does. Coach Ben was a collegian football player at Utica college. After college he studied to become a certified personal trainer and with his passion for sports performance, BeenFit was created. Ben has studied, sat, and trained with professional athletes, collegian/ professional strength coaches of all different sports, to learn about how their body is affected by said sport and how sports performance training affects players/coaches. He has taken his learnings and applied it to all levels from pro, college, high school, middle school, and youth. Helping all athletes build a great foundation for their sport.
Coach Tahj Clark
Coach Tahj is head trainer at Been Fit Performance & Training. Coach was a collegiate football player at Utica College. From years of sports training, Tahj fell in love with the fitness portion of training. Becoming a certified PT and nutritionist, Tahj went on after his collegian career to train people all different ages, shape, sizes, and skill level. Helped people recover from injuries, improve athletes sports performance, and help people increase their overall physical fitness and health. Building a great foundation in all things fitness Tahj has studied the weight room, the human body, and nutrition inside and out. Tahj is currently working on finishing his exercise science degree. If your goal has anything to do with physical fitness Tahj will get you there in the quickest amount of time guaranteed!
Performance Training
Our performance training system is designed to develop your players sports specific movements and overall athleticism. Your athleticism is determined by movement, how well you can control your body in a plain of land while reacting to a stimulate. Based off your player sport and position is how we base our programming so you have a specific program for you yourself.
Personal Training
A program developed based off your specific goals and exercise experience. Goals from getting you to that ideal body you’ve always wanted or just helping you move pain free and feel strong. All goals are attainable with BeenFit if hard work and consistency is applied.
